Charity for Sports
BBR Bank supports sports organizations in different parts of the country. Several projects are being deployed in Kamchatka — Dmitry Gordovich was born and raised there. One of the recipients of funding is the Children’s and Youth Sports and Health Club Spartak, founded in 1996 by the famous mountaineer and coach Lyudmila Agranovskaya. Dmitry Gordovich made BBR Bank a sponsor of the Kamchatka Olympic Reserve Sports School for Winter Sports. Over its forty years of operation, many masters of sports in biathlon have graduated from this school. Its pupils have repeatedly won major sports competitions that take place in the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky biathlon complex, including the Avacha Marathon and the Far Eastern Federal District Biathlon Championship.

The top manager is the inspiration and drive of the well-known BBR Bank White Nights Open squash tournament. Fans of this sports discipline come to the competition from all over the country. The bank’s involvement enables the St. Petersburg Tramontana Boulder Battle to take place regularly. It is a large-scale tournament in bouldering — high-speed climbing on short and extremely difficult trails. The tournament is held at the Tramontana Sports Center, where more than three hundred athletes compete annually. In 2024, the sum of prizes to the winners, paid out by BBR Bank, amounted to 200,000 rubles.
Helping the Most Vulnerable
BBR Bank is one of the sponsors of the Kurortny nursing home, located in the recreation area on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. The home provides special conditions for the elderly residents of the region who require constant medical supervision, specialized nutrition and care. The cost of services for ordinary pensioners is too high, so benefactors come to the rescue. The bank allocates funds to the nursing home to pay for the patients’ stay.
Dmitry Gordovich is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ostrova charity foundation, created to deliver systemic care for individuals with rare diseases. The foundation’s programs were designed to assist patients with cystic fibrosis, most of whom are children and adolescents under the age of 18. The bank finances:

- Purchase of special nutrition for preoperative therapy before lung transplantation
- Educational events in the regions
- Conferences and forums dedicated to cystic fibrosis

Dmitry Gordovich is an entrepreneur and top manager, born on May 20, 1969, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the St. Petersburg Institute of Modern Economics and Technology. The starting point of Dmitry Gordovich’s professional biography was entrepreneurship. In 1999, he founded the Viadi company, which later evolved into a prominent manufacturer of components for the food industry. Since 2007, Dmitry Gordovich has been working at BBR Bank. Now, he is a member of the bank’s top management.
