Tips for How to Top Your Class 9th Exams

1. MAKE THE FLOW CHART FOR PREPARATION:

For scoring the highest marks in the 9th exams you should make a working plan for each day. Without planning, the students aren’t able to score well in the exams. The plan makes the habit of learning daily. The plan should contain all the possibilities to make the preparation better. Preparing step by step helps in identifying the weak points, and does not make the burden on the next steps. 

2. SET THE DAILY GOAL: 

Setting the daily goal helps in knowing the final destiny clearly. The everyday goal divides the syllabus into many points, which decreases the burden of completion of the syllabus at the end. Achieve the daily goal to complete the syllabus earlier and you can get the time for the revision. The daily goal makes the habit of learning and it enhances the knowledge. Set a  goal that you can achieve easily in a day and it should cover some topics from every subject of your syllabus.

3.  SYLLABUS:

To score high marks in the exam, start your preparation by going through the syllabus. The CBSE syllabus for class 9th is harder than the syllabus you have covered in the past classes. 

The main Subjects of the class 9th are: HINDI, ENGLISH, MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND SOCIAL SCIENCE.

Take the overview of every subject’s syllabus before starting the preparation. After taking the overview, divide the subjects into 3 sections according to the toughness of the subjects. For the subject, having the tough topics prescribes more time for the preparation.

Take the classes regularly for scoring high marks in class. The benefits of attending the regular class are uncountable but the most important is it enhances the knowledge. Attending regular classes gives an idea of what are the things to remember on that topic. The discussion related to the subjects by the teacher is very important for the preparation. You can clear your doubts in the class and also take guidance from the teachers related to subjects. Participate in the activities and the experiments done in the school to get a practical view of the subjects.

6. MAKE NOTES:

Make notes of each subject while studying. Mark the important points and highlight the important topics. Make the diagrams, flow charts, keywords, graphs, etc. while making notes, refer to the books and remember the topics which the teachers taught in the classes. Note making saves the time for always reading books which you can utilize in the revisions. While making notes, pay full attention to the topic you are preparing. Notes help in remembering things for the long term, so prepare them carefully. Make effective notes that help in the future. Cover all the topics and subtopics so that you can utilize them whenever you want. Make the notes of each subject in different books and prefer to make the notes handwritten, this makes the habit of writing the answers. 

7. READ BOOKS:

 Make the habit of reading books, because this enhances your learning and thinking ability. Read the books which are recommended by NCERT for the preparation of exams. Students can also refer to the reference books for understanding the topics better. Take the reference from the books that discuss the topics in elaborations and give an example of each topic.

8. ASSIGNMENTS:

Regular assignments are very useful in scoring the highest marks in the exam. Regular assignments give the report of how much you are able to understand the subjects. The assignments help to find out the weak point of your preparation. Evaluate yourself by doing the assignments. Assignments also help me remember the topics for a long time. Try to solve the assignment without taking help from the books or notes. Assignments increase the concentration power and make the mind understand the topic more clearly.

Sample papers are a must for the preparation for the exam for class 9th. As the students come into higher studies the level of questions asked in the exams also increases. For scoring high marks in the examinations, try to solve last previous years question papers. 

10. REVISION:

Revision is the most important part of preparation. Many students generally skip the revision, this creates a bad impact on results. To score high marks in the exam students should do a good revision because in this phase almost all the topics are covered, the topics which are left in the preparations are having some doubts that are covered in the revision. This makes the concepts clear. Do the revisions from the notes, sample papers, and also read from the books to remember the things. Correlate the concepts and follow the flow charts. In the final revision also practice the diagrams, graphs, flow charts and other things for final practice.
